Our Teaching Pastor, Lyle Mook, began his ministry at Christ Church in July, 1997. Raised on a dairy farm in PA, he is a graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (MDiv) and has served in campus ministry with the Navigators, as chaplain and director of a hospice program, as well as in pastoral leadership. He is committed to practical, biblical teaching and to empowering leadership that will equip Christ-followers to serve Jesus in today's world. Lyle is also an Adjunct Professor at URI teaching the course in Biblical Thought in the Philosophy Dept. He enjoys sports, classical and Eastern Orthodox music, and still likes cows. Lyle and Mary have four children - Andrew, Stephen, Nathan, and Katherine. Click Here to read Lyle's Blog, Ruminations, a Christ Church teaching resource
