Core Beliefs

“In the essentials we have unity, in the non-essentials we have liberty (freedom); in all things we demonstrate charity (love and respect).”

At Christ Church, we seek to focus on Christ. Our core beliefs are in keeping with the truths of orthodox Christianity. We believe all people matter to God because they are made “in God’s image” and designed to be in relationship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  The Bible is the inspired word of God, central to our teaching and the way we pattern our lives.

We affirm the Apostle's Creed and Nicene Creed as historic statements of the Church's core beliefs.

We are part of a growing movement of churches called the Evangelical Covenant Church, which has several “Affirmations” that can be helpful for further explanations of our beliefs and values. View online
