Life Class (LC 201) Renovaré - Discovering a Balanced Vision of Christian Faith & Practice
Fridays (excluding Good Friday) 6:30 - 9:00pm in the church sanctuary
Led by Pastor Herb & Paula Frost
Renovaré means “renew” and through this study you may find ways to renew your approach to God and how He works and moves in your life. This is the first of seven classes moving through different ways to experience God.
As we look to the Spring, we have planned some more seminars that will cover a variety of topics.
- There will be another seminar that continues the theme of “Blessed Burdens” as we look to the “sandwich” generation for those that are caring for their aging parents as well as their own grown children. Elder care, assisted living, end of life care, and medical planning will be covered and discussed.
- Renovare seminars will continue on till May. People will be welcomed to continue after the first class or sign up for these seminars as they come.
- Membership: We will be holding another membership class for those interested in learning more about Christ Church.
- What is the Evangelical Covenant & Why Should I Care? This is a new offering which will examine the brief history of our denomination and its Affirmations. These Affirmations have defined the Covenant and are important to the way in which the church develops and expands. These Affirmations go beyond history and affiliation, they are also helpful to grow deeper in our faith.
- There are a few more seminars being planned at this time so watch your bulletin and the enews as all these spiritual formation seminars are announced with their day and time listed.
