Easter at Christ Church

Easter is a time to rejoice in the beauty of new beginnings and the promise of hope. Join us!

Sunday, April 5
Cole Middle School
100 Cedar Ave, East Greenwich

Come celebrate Easter morning with us at Christ Church!

Starting at 9:00am, we'll share fresh-baked scones made by members of our church (carrying on our tradition of special Easter morning treats). Grab some coffee, enjoy the scones, and spend time meeting new friends or catching up with familiar faces.

Got kids? They'll love our creative corner in the gym where they can put together their own activity pack for the service. Let them pick out their favorite items to make it their own.

At 9:30am, we'll gather together to celebrate Christ's resurrection and share in this story of hope and new beginnings.

We welcome regulars, visitors, and anyone who's curious to see what we're about. Come as you are - you'll fit right in.

(And yes, those scones are worth coming early for!)

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE

Friday, April 3 | 7pm | Worship Center

This Good Friday, we invite you into a sacred evening of drawing near to God. You can connect with God in whatever way speaks to your heart - some may feel called to kneel in reverence, others to stand in prayer, while those who need to may find peace in sitting quietly. Each posture is a beautiful expression of faith, and each one is welcome.

Gentle candlelight will fill our space as scripture readings guide us through the evening. In these moments, we'll remember together the depth of Jesus's love. This year brings something special too - you'll have the chance to place symbolic gems on fabric that will later embrace our Easter cross. It's a simple yet profound way for our individual prayers to become part of something larger - a visible reminder of our unity as God's family.

Come as you are. Rest in His presence. Be part of this meaningful evening with your church family.

First Time Visiting? Here's What to Know

The Basics

We're so glad you're considering joining us! Our Easter service includes music, an inspiring message, and we'll be celebrating baptisms. We've got coffee and fresh pastries waiting for you when you arrive.

Pre-Service Hangout (9:00-9:25am)

Grab some coffee and scones while the kids make their activity bags.

Service Time

We kick off at 9:30am and usually wrap up in about an hour, hour and fifteen tops.

What Should I Wear?

Honestly? Whatever makes you comfortable! You'll see people in everything from dressy to casual. We care about you, not your outfit choice.

Bringing Kids?

We love having kids in service! Here's how we make Easter special for families:

  • Before Service (9:00-9:25am)
  • Grab coffee and treats in our welcome area
  • Kids can create their own activity bags in the gym

  • During Service (Starts at 9:30am)
  • Your kids are in for something special! We've planned some fun, interactive moments just for them
  • We've set aside table seating for families who'd like that option
  • Feel free to use our family room anytime you need a quiet moment

Can't Make It In Person?

While we won't be streaming the service live, we'll have the Easter message posted on our website by Monday. We'd love to see you in person if you can make it, but we understand schedules can be tricky around holidays!
