What should I expect at the service?
The service will feature uplifting worship, an inspiring message, and a special baptism ceremony. As part of our tradition, we will also serve a delicious pastry hot cross buns, along with coffee.
What is the attire at Christ Church?
Don't worry, there's no strict dress code here! Whether you prefer to dress up in your Sunday best, come in casual attire, or even wear something more relaxed, we welcome you with open arms. So, get ready to enjoy the service, and come as you are!
Are children welcome in the service?
Of course! Children are essential to our community and we welcome families to experience Easter worship together. To help make this a meaningful experience for everyone, we invite children and their families to join us between 9:30-10am before the service, where kids can play in the gym and create their own activity bags to use during worship.
Will there be a Kids Ministry for Easter services?
We have a special pre-service activity planned for children! While we won't have our regular CCkids program during the service, we've created an engaging experience to help children prepare for Easter worship with their families.
Here's what to expect:
- From 9:30-10am, join us for coffee and hot cross buns while children enjoy:
- Fun playtime in the gym
- Creating their own personalized activity bags with materials to use during the service
- At 9:55am, everyone will gather together for the Easter Celebration Service, where families can worship together
- A family room is available if you would like to take a break and regroup in this cozy space during the service
How long is the Easter service?
Our services typically last between 60-75 minutes.
Can I stream the Easter service online?
While we won't be live streaming the Easter service, we'll be posting a recording of the sermon online after the service. We encourage you to join us in person for the full Easter celebration experience, including our special pre-service activities and live worship!
